Presentation Information

Oral Presentations

• Oral presentations should be no longer than 12 minutes, which will leave 3 minutes for questions. (keynote speakers excluded).
• Please ensure your presentation slides are prepared well in advance.
• Presentation slides must be uploaded to DROPBOX HERE by 11 October 2026. There is no template or branding required
• Save your slides in 16:9 format 
• Name your file as: Day_Session_FirstName_LastName (e.g., Tuesday_1A_AlexLee) 
• Bring a backup copy on a USB stick, a speaker prep room will be available 
• Use the lectern computer – personal laptops will not be used unless pre-organised by special request 

*If you are a session chair and have additional content to upload (e.g. for start or end of session). Use the alternative format of “Day_Session_Opening” or “Day_Session_Closing”. You can check in with the audiovisual technicans at the speaker prep desk during the conference week to ensure the exact order of display.

Speed Talk Presentations

• Speed talks are three-minute talks with a maximum of three slides.

• Save your slides in 16:9 format
• Name your file as: Day_Session_FirstName_LastName (e.g., Tuesday_1A_AlexLee)

Poster Presentations

• Posters should be printed in A0 portrait format, and brought along to the symposium with you. They will be on display throughout the symposium.
• A poster board number will be allocated to you in due course. Upon arrival at the conference, please locate your assigned board, which will be situated in the Exhibition & Catering area in the Level 1 Foyer. Velcro dots will be provided and will be attached to the board for you to use.
• Two dedicated poster sessions will be included in the programme and you will be allocated to one poster session to stand beside your board and answer any questions from attendees.

Poster Printing (pre-order & pre-paid)
We are pleased to advise that a poster printing service will be available for the symposium. Posters can be pre-ordered and collected at the symposium venue. Avoid the hassle of travelling with your poster—simply collect it at the conference venue when you arrive.

Payment is required upon placing your order. Orders and poster uploads for printing close on Friday 2 October. No late orders or poster uploads will be available.

Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre
Level 1 (all symposium activities will be held on this level)
Please allow time to familiarise yourself with the venue layout on arrival.
