Information for Presenters
Thank you for agreeing to present at HighCO₂ VI.
We are delighted to have you contribute to the programme and share your research with the global scientific community.
This page provides key information to help you prepare for the symposium and your presentation.
Key Dates
- Early bird registration deadline: 1 August 2026 (any time zone)
- Programme release (with presentation times): June 2026
- Presentation slides deadline: 11 October 2026
- Symposium dates: 13-16 October 2026

Presentation Information
Oral Presentations
- Oral presentations should be no longer than 12 minutes, which will leave 3 minutes for questions. (keynote speakers excluded).
- Please ensure your presentation slides are prepared well in advance.
- Presentation slides must be uploaded to DROPBOX HERE(opens in new tab) by 11 October 2026. There is no template or branding required
- Save your slides in 16:9 format
- Name your file as: Day_Session_FirstName_LastName (e.g., Tuesday_1A_John Smith)
- Bring a backup copy on a USB stick, a speaker prep room will be available
- Use the lectern computer – personal laptops will not be used unless pre-organised by special request
Speed Talk Presentations
- Speed talks are three-minute talks with a maximum of three slides.
- Presentation slides must be uploaded to DROPBOX HERE(opens in new tab) by 11 October 2026. There is no template or branding required
- Save your slides in 16:9 format
- Name your file as: Day_Session_FirstName_LastName (e.g., Tuesday_1A_John Smith)
Poster Presentations
- Posters should be printed in A0 portrait format, and brought along to the symposium with you. They will be on display throughout the symposium.
- A poster board number will be allocated to you in due course. Upon arrival at the conference, please locate your assigned board, which will be situated in the Exhibition & Catering area in the Level 1 Foyer. Velcro dots will be provided and will be attached to the board for you to use.
- Two dedicated poster sessions will be included in the programme and you will be allocated to one poster session to stand beside your board and answer any questions from attendees.
Poster Printing
We are pleased to advise that a poster printing service will be available for the symposium. Posters can be pre-ordered and collected at the symposium venue. An order form and further details will be provided at a later date. Please note that payment will be required at the time of ordering.
Venue
All sessions for HighCO₂ VI will take place at:
Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre
Level 1 (all symposium activities will be held on this level)
Please allow time to familiarise yourself with the venue layout on arrival.
Registration
All presenters must register and pay by the early bird deadline to attend the symposium.
